MHA Recovery Services Point of Contact (POC) Program
MHA Recovery Services Point of Contact (POC) Program works within MHA Recovery Services in partnership with MHA Sober Living and conducts community outreach.
POC Program is comprised individuals in active recovery, who offer their experience and knowledge of recovery to prepare clients for their personal recovery journey, to navigate barriers, to support clients in addressing familial relations and to direct clients to available resources to address legal, housing, education and employment issues. POC’s primary functions:
- Peer support
- Transitional Support
- Transportation
- Care Coordination
The POC Program also include Cultural Specialists to support clients interested in integrating cultural practices into their recovery journey. The POC Program is located throughout the MHA Nation segments and Bismarck.
