Culture Dept. Narrative:

The MHA Good Road Recovery Center, Culture Department is a dedicated team of community members, leaders and prayer people that have many years of ceremonial teachings, knowledge and experience.

The GRRC Culture team has dedicated their lives to learning and participating in traditional ceremonies and living with sobriety. Through this ‘Way of Life” our team is committed to sharing and teaching their knowledge and experiences to help our relatives in recovery. Our team believes that the most important key to recovery and maintaining sobriety is to help them reconnect with their ancestral culture and prayer.

In doing so, our belief is that it will empower our relatives to find their identity, reconnect and continue to heal into the future. The GRRC Culture Dept. consists of 4 Cultural Specialists, a Cultural Supervisor and a Cultural Advisor.
