The Door in New Town, North Dakota

The first of its kind in North Dakota, The Door Resource & Recovery Lodge is a native peer-run group of MHA Nation, North Segment for the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.

The Door is dedicated to building the recovery community. All staff are certified Peer Support Specialists who provide a healthy environment with resources that individuals need to stay on the recovery road. Peer Support members, recovery coaches, and mentors can assist individuals with changing their old behaviors and thinking into new ones with positive reinforcement. Many services are offered within our peer support structure The program guarantees a safe, sober, proactive environment to those that are in recovery, providing care coordination, a solid Wellbriety movement, and a 12-step recovery foundation.

The Door Resource & Recovery Lodge believes in building a firm foundation for healing, understanding, and strengthening our home on the MHA Nation for people in recovery to have a sober atmosphere to thrive in. The Door Resource & Recovery Lodge promotes healthy, structured, responsible living lifestyles throughout life with cultural teachings. The Door Resource & Recovery Lodge team is living and breathing, each on our own path in recovery and willing to assist anybody struggling with addiction or an addicted loved one.
